One attested for allegedly involved in tiger poaching

Chitwan: A person has been arrested for his alleged involvement in tiger poaching.

The arrested has been identified as Amrit Neupane, 20, of Binaya Triveni Rural Municipality-1 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

At a press conference today, the Chitwan National Park made public Neupane.

CNP’s chief conservation officer Ganesh Pant informed that he was arrested for further investigation into the incident of poaching Bengal tiger.

Pant further informed that a snapshot of a trapped tiger was retrieved from the mobile phone of Neupane in course of recovering call details.

A case has been filed against him on tiger poaching as per the National Park and Wildlife Conservation (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2029. (RSS)
