Jhapa: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has initiated the distribution of the land-ownership certificates at ward nos 4 and 5 of Gauradaha Municipality in Jhapa district today.
The local people will now get land plots with the government’s this decision of distributing land-ownership certificates to them. The locals had been facing problems for long as the land measurement of around 8,000 units of land plots belonging to 4,000 households of the then Maharanijhoda Village Development Committee had not been certified.
The present government, through a decree, formed a committee for resolving this problem, making the distribution of the land-ownership certificates possible.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli said the incumbent coalition government is carrying out works in such a way that it answers those critics who are saying that the condition of the people has not changed after the change in the governance system. He expressed the commitment to address each and every problem of the people.
Stating that although those trying to create instability in the country and those, who do not want to see the country’s problems sorted out, are spreading rumours that the government is about to fall down, PM Oli asserted that this would not be possible at all.
He reminded that the government leadership would be handed over to Nepali Congress President after 18 months from now in line with the agreement reached between the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) at the time of formation of this government. (RSS)
