Jhapa: Two people from Jhapa were killed after being struck by separate lightning strikes on Tuesday morning.
Police have identified the deceased as Bikash Giri, 42, from Gairigunj Rural Municipality-8, and Rajan Khadka, 46, from Kamal Rural Municipality-2.
Giri died on the spot, while Khadka succumbed to injuries in the course of treatment at the AMDA Hospital in Damak.
