Kathmandu: In a striking political twist, the CPN-Maoist has decided to forge a fresh coalition government, marking a decisive departure from its 15-month alliance with the Nepali Congress.
Following a sequence of intensive political deliberations on Sunday evening, a consensus was reached to establish a new coalition government under the leadership of Maoist Chair, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
