Now, the passengers should pay Rs 840 more on the longest route while those to fly on the shortest route should pay Rs 170 more than the usual fare. The longest air route in the country is from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi while Kathmandu to Simara is the shortest one.
Nepal Oil Corporation had increased the price of ATF by Rs 19 per liter. The increase in airfare is in line with the NOC’s decision on the price hike, said AOAN in a statement.
