Explosion at a Teku fuel station leaves two injured

Kathmandu: An explosion in the tank of a fuel station at Teku in Kathmandu on Sunday has left two persons injured, according to police.

The explosion occurred when the lid of the tank at Kanak Fuel Station in Kathmandu-32 was being opened for refilling fuel.

Those injured in the incident have been identified as Kishori Shah and Deepak Kumar Shah, residents of Jagannathpur Rural Municipality-3 in Parsa.

The injured have been sent to the Trauma Center for further treatment, police confirmed.
