Kathmandu: The CPN (Unified Socialist) on Sunday decided to call its ministers back from the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led coalition government.
The party has decided to call all its ministers, except the Minister for Law Govinda Sharma Bandi, senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said.
The Secretariat meeting of the party decided to end the tenure of Health and Population Minister Birodh Khatiwada; Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation minister Prem Ale, Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhakri, and Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Kisan Shrestha.
The party has already proposed five names to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for their appointments as new ministers. The list includes the name of Metmani Chaudhary as Minister for Urban Development, Jeevan Ram Shrestha as Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sher Bahadur Kunwar as Minister for Labor and Social Security, and Hira KC as Health State minister.
