Kathmandu: Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning has been predicted at some places of the country.
However, the weather across the country is partially to generally cloudy.According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is an influence of local wind as well as low-pressure trough spread from Uttar Pradesh of India to West Bangladesh.
The sky in hilly areas of the country including in Province 1 and Madhes Province would witness partially to generally cloudy weather while there is the possibility of light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning at some places of Province 1, Madhes Province, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, added the Department.
The weather in Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces is partial to generally cloudy as well a few places of Province 1 and Madhes Provinces have now been experiencing light rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 19.8 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature at 29.5 degree Celsius. Today, Jumla recorded the lowest temperature 12.8 degree Celsius and Dipayal recorded the highest temperature 40.4 degree Celsius.
