Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to meet at Hyderabad House on Saturday.
Prime Minister Deuba reached New Delhi on Friday on a three-day official visit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Deuba will hold separate talks with his Indian counterpart Modi at the Hyderabad House.
After the formal bilateral talks, Prime Minister Deuba and his counterpart Modi are scheduled to launch the Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service. Similarly, more than 130 health posts constructed with Indian assistance in the post-earthquake reconstruction in Nepal will be jointly inaugurated virtually by the two Prime Ministers.
Also today, bilateral discussions will be held to reach an agreement on the purchase of electricity produced and surplus in Nepal.
Likewise, bilateral agreements will be signed and a joint press statement will be issued today. The two Prime Ministers are also scheduled to address a joint press conference. Indian Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to host a luncheon in honor of the Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Deuba.
Prime Minister Deuba will call on Indian Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu in the afternoon today.
Likewise, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to hold an interaction with the Indian business community this evening.
