Kathmandu: Wrapping up a three-day Nepal visit, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi returned home on Sunday afternoon.
He was seen off at Tribhuvan International Airport by Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Poudyal.
During Nepal stay, the Chines Foreign Minister was involved in high-level political meetings. He met President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka. Wang also met UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
During the visit, Nepal and China inked nine sets of instruments to enhance mutual cooperation and partnership. Such an agreement was reached during the Nepal-China Foreign Minister level talks held on Saturday. Both countries agreed to further strengthen the cooperative relation and partnership between Nepal and China.
