Sandeep Lamichhane becomes first Nepali cricketer to complete 50 wickets in ODI

Kathmandu: Nepali cricket team Captain and leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has become the first Nepali cricketer to take 50 wickets in One Day International matches.

Sandeep reached the milestone during Nepal’s match against Papua New Guinea in Kathmandu on Saturday. He took the wicket of Charles Amini.

Sandeep has played 22 ODI matches so far.

Earlier in February, Sandeep became the first Nepali player to complete 50 wickets in T20I. He had achieved the milestone during Nepal’s match against Ireland in Oman.
