Kathmandu: State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi on Saturday met his Nepali counterpart Narayan Khadka.
The two leaders met at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Saturday afternoon. Wang was welcomed by Minister Khadka at Singha Durbar.
Nepal-China bilateral talks will also be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The Chinese delegation will be led by Wang.
Foreign Minister Khadka will host a dinner in honor of his Chinese counterpart on Saturday evening.
Wang Yi arrived on a three-day visit to Nepal on Friday evening.
He is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today and President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday morning. Wang is scheduled to return to China on Sunday evening after meeting UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and UCPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
