Nepal records 51 new cases of Covid-19 with 392 recoveries

Kathmandu: Nepal on Friday recorded 51 positive cases out of 5,914 tests.

Likewise, 392 recovered from the virus, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

With this, the total cases of recovery so far have reached 962,173 and the recovery rate is 98.4 percent. Today, Nepal reported no deaths from the virus.

There are currently 3,996 active cases across the country. As the Ministry said, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Chitwan and Banke district have still more than 200 positive cases and the infection is nil in four districts—Manang, Rukum East, Bajura and Jumla.

The infection rate is 17.8 percent in the country and 3,927 are currently in home isolation, 69 in institutional isolation, 27 are in the ICU care and six are on ventilator support. In the past 24 hours, 29,390 received vaccines against the virus.
