Panchthar: A fire ravaged three houses in Falelung Rural Municipality-6, Barbhanjyang on Wednesday evening.
The fire that broke out from the house of Jeet Bahadur Meyongba destroyed the houses of Ramjeet Rai and Man Bahadur Rai.
Khagendra Rai, a local, said that the inferno engulfed over half a dozen shops.
Two fire engines from Fidim were used to douse the fire. Barbhanjyang is a market hub of Barbhanjyang Falelung-6.
Locals say that the fire outbreak was caused by an electric short circuit.
