Kathmandu: Media Space Solutions Pvt Ltd, Nepal, and Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd, India, are organizing the 7th Nepal Wood International Expo 2022 and Nepal International Furniture & Home Décor Expo 2022 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu from January 7 to 9.
“The Nepal Wood International exhibition is dedicated to woodworking machinery, furniture production technologies, power tools, fittings & fixtures, furniture, interior design, home décor, accessories, raw materials and products and Nepal international furniture. Likewise, the Home Décor Expo focuses on furniture making and fittings, furniture designs, home décor, office furniture, home furniture, interior designing and finished furnishing products,” a statement issued by the organizers reads.
The Nepal Wood Exhibition is set to host more than 100 local and international brands, it said.
According to Srijal Bhattarai, Managing Director at Media Space Solutions, after the economy went through a standstill due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this type of exhibition will prove to be an effective tool to get the economy back on the track.
“With a motive to setup new industries and entrepreneurs in Nepal, this exhibition will prove to be effective for aspiring individuals and companies to setup new businesses using latest technology and innovations being used worldwide,” he said.
Likewise, Namit Gupta, director of Futurex Trade Fair said: “Smart factories can possibly change the Nepal furniture manufacturing industry. Nepal Wood 2022 is focused to align the furniture manufacturing industry into an organized sector and create a suitable platform to pursue incredible business opportunities.”
