Kathmandu: Nepal reported 264 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Likewise, the country registered two deaths during the period.
The new cases have been identified through 12,566 samples tested in laboratories across the country.
According to the Health Ministry, 241 samples tested positive through the RT-PCR method, while 23 samples tested positive through the antigen method.
With the addition of new cases, Nepal has 4,910 active Covid-19 cases.
As of Tuesday, the Covid-19 death toll stands at 11,588.
