Kathmandu: CPN-UML vice-chair Bhim Rawal has resigned from the task force formed to implement the 10-point agreement. Rawal stepped down from his role saying that party chair KP Sharma Oli remained reluctant to implement the agreement.
“The party chair is unwilling to abide by the 10-point agreement not only publicly but also in the Standing Committee meeting,” Rawal has said in his resignation note. “I don’t find any relevance of being a member of the task force anymore.”
Rawal stressed that the party should create a conciliatory atmosphere and uphold unity by implementing the 10-point agreement.
