Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went up by 78.82 points on Tuesday, an increase of 2.95 percent.
The stock market closed at 2,751 points as trading closed for today. The Nepse index has increased by 87.63 points yesterday.
The Sensitive Index also increased by 11.50 points and closed at 516.07 points.
All the sub-indices registered an increase today with the hotels and tourism sub-index rising by 232.2 points (7.51 percent). Likewise, the finance sub-index went up by 5.61 percent.
The stock market saw an increment in turnover with Rs 6.3 billion turnover recorded with 11,486,123 unit shares of 227 scrips traded.
