Kathmandu: After 37 years, the renowned Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has crossed paths with his former child co-actor, Felicity Volk, who is now the Australian ambassador to Nepal, in Kathmandu. Both Kher and Volk have shared their joy of running into each other in Kathmandu through Twitter on Friday.
Felicity Volk, then 19, had played a small role in the 1984 film “Jeevan Sandhya”, alongside Kher. The film tells the story of a patriotic young Indian soldier who trains other soldiers to fight against foreign rulers.
Kher, one of the most prolific Bollywood actors, is currently in Kathmandu for the shoot of his upcoming movie “Uunchai” which is the staggering 520th movie of his career. Kher has received two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards.
Felicity Volk has been serving as the Australian ambassador to Nepal since February 2021. She is also a published author of two novels, “Lightening” (2013) and “Desire Lines” (2020). She is now the Australian ambassador of Nepal.
Kher’s upcoming movie “Uunchai” is reportedly a family drama, which includes the long, old friendship of elderly citizens.
