Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has called for applications for Head Coach of Men’s National Cricket Team.
Issuing a notice on Monday, CAN sought applications for a full-time coach on a contract basis.
The Head Coach will be responsible for leading the development of the Men’s Cricket Team to produce consistent performances at the international level through the design and delivery of well-structured and progressive coaching programs, reads the notice.
ECB / CA Level 3 (or equivalent) accredited and above, a minimum of five years coaching experience in a professional cricket (i.e. ICC Full Member/First-Class Team / ICC Associate Member) and understanding and knowledge of cricketing culture, ODI cycle and pathways for Associate members have been fixed as eligibility criteria.
The Nepali Men’s Cricket Team has been without a Head Coach following the resignation by Dav Whatmore after the triangular one-day series of the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2 in Oman.
