Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index increased by 68.47 points on Wednesday to close at 2,681.11 points.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies also went up by 12.72 points and reached 504.73 points.
All the sub-indices increased today with the microfinance sub-index registering the highest increase of 296.15 points (5.8 percent). Similarly, finance and development bank sub-indices went up by 6.59 and 4.82 percent.
The stock market recorded a total turnover of Rs 4.5 billion with 8,189,890 unit shares of 227 scrips traded today.
