Kathmandu: Bhairahawa Gladiators thrashed Chitwan Tigers by six wickets in a match under the Everest Premier League on Monday.
Bhairahawa Gladiators achieved the 165-run target set by Chitwan Tigers in 17.5 overs losing four wickets.
Pradeep Airee top-scored for Bhairahawa Gladiators at 72 runs off 43 balls hitting eight fours and three sixes. Tamim Iqbal contributed 40 runs off 30 balls. Karim Janat of Chitwan Tigers took two wickets.
Earlier today, Chitwan Tigers made 164 runs losing eight wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Karim Janat and Mohammad Shahzad scored 35 and 32 runs respectively. Abinash Bohara of Bhairahawa Gladiators took three wickets.
Chitwan Tigers won the toss and elected to bat first.
