Mustang: The Muktinath Temple, a holy place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists, has been reopened from today.
The temple, which was earlier closed since last April, has now been reopened for devotees, following the decision of the meeting of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center and the Security Committee held at the District Administration Office, Mustang on September 21.
According to the Chief District Officer, the temple has been reopened for the devotees by arranging all the health safety protocols inside the temple premises.
The temple is located at an altitude of 3,710 meters from sea level.
