Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went up by 104.88 points on Wednesday to close at 2,816.95 points, 3.87 percent higher than yesterday.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index also gained 19.47 points and closed at 528.10 points.
All the sub-indices went up today with the life insurance sub-index witnessing an increase of 551.75 points (3.63 points). Similarly, the non-life insurance and the development bank sub-indices gained 441.87 and 381.42 points respectively.
The stock market saw a total turnover of Rs 6.17 billion with 12,122,298 units share of 217 scrips traded today.
