Kathmandu: The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Samajbadi), which has applied to the Election Commission for party registration, has mentioned in its party’s statute that its focus will be on socialism while protecting the values of the People’s Multiparty Democracy (Janata ko Bahudaliya Janabad).
The statute has mentioned that Marxism–Leninism will be the guiding principle of the party.
It has been mentioned in the statute that there will be eight types of central bodies of the party. National General Convention, National Council, Central Committee, Central Discipline Commission, Central Audit Commission, Central Election Commission, Central Advisory Council and Central Senior Communist Forum will be the central bodies of the party.
The Central Committee of the party will have 151 members. It has been mentioned in the statute that the Central Committee will have one Chairman, one senior leader, seven Vice Chairmen, one General Secretary, two Deputy General Secretaries, seven Secretaries, 115 full members and 36 alternate members. Similarly, the party will have 51-member Politburo and a 21-member Standing Committee.
