Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went down by 16 points on Thursday—the last trading day of the week. The stock market closed at 3,107.45 points.
The sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies, however, increased by 0.64 points to close at 679 points.
All the sub-indices except banking and development bank fell today. The manufacturing and processing sub-index fell the most by 90.82 points. The development bank sub-index witnessed an increase of 108.69 points.
The stock market registered a total turnover of Rs 14.3 billion with 28,845,431 unit shares of 226 scrips traded today.
