Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index increased by 29.24 points on Tuesday to reach an all-time high of 3,079.67 points.
The Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies went up by 3.19 points and reached 574.30 points as trading closed on the third trading day of the week.
All sub-indices except banking, trading, hotel and tourism and microfinance saw an increase today. The microfinance sub-index fell the most by 116.66 points as the sub-index of manufacturing and processing increased the most by 305.18 points.
The Nepse index had gone down by 8.24 points to close at 3,050.42 points as trading closed on Monday.
The stock market registered a total turnover of Rs 15.17 billion with 32,355,260 shares of 225 scrips traded today.
