Covid-19: Nepal witnesses 2,444 fresh cases and 42 deaths; 3,853 recovered in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Nepal recorded 2,444 fresh coronavirus and 42 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population stated.

According to the Ministry, 1,509 cases were confirmed positive in PCR tests while 935 were confirmed through the antigen method. Samples of 6,648 people were tested through the PCR method while 4,992 samples were tested using the antigen method.

As of today, the death toll from Covid-19 has reached 9,051. Moreover, 3,853 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
