Kathmandu: Voting on a no-confidence motion tabled against Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Subba Gurung has been scheduled for next week.
It has been decided that the no-confidence motion will be put to vote at 11 am on Monday. Nepali Congress lawmaker Bindukumar Thapa said that voting on the no-confidence motion could be held on the same day.
Speaker Netranath Adhikari has convened a meeting of the Province Assembly following discussions with leaders.
A total of three opposition parties had filed a no-confidence motion against CM Gurung on April 15.
