Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index increased by 54 points on the first trading of the week on Sunday to close at 2,665.11 points.
Total turnover crossed Rs 7 billion-mark.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies increased by 8.78 points and reached 477.81 points.
A total of 15,832,403 shares of 226 companies were traded 83,404 times today, resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.36 billion.
All the sub-indices went up today. The life insurance sub-index increased the most by 632.18 points.
