PM Oli scheduled to return home today

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned home after an official visit to Thailand after attending the sixth BIMSTEC summit. 

Prime Minister Oli departed for Nepal at 10:15 AM local time this morning.

PM Oli was seen off by Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Transport of Thailand, in a unique lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok.

There is a schedule to reach Nepal at 12:30 AM today. 

PM Oli was bid farewell by Nepal’s resident ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Oli and Suwapong Sirisorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal. 

This is the first official visit to Thailand by a Nepali Prime Minister at the friendly invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
