Lamichhane remanded in judicial custody for four more days

Kaski: On Tuesday, the Kaski District Court remanded Rashtriya Swatantra Party Chairperson and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in custody for four more days for further investigation on charges of cooperative fund embezzlement and organized crime.

A bench of Justice Him Lal Belbase remanded Lamichhane, Nature Hurb’s operator Ram Bahadur Khanal, Gorkha Media’s former vice chair Chhabilal Joshi, GB and Group’s staff Geeta Pachhai, and former operator of cooperatives Krishna Gurung for four days. 

It is the eighth time that the court has permitted the police to keep Lamichhane in custody.

Police on Monday submitted a report regarding the investigation of the cooperative fund embezzlement and organized crime to the District Government Attorney Office Kaski.
