Kathmandu: Genese Solution – a UK-based IT consulting company, in collaboration with the Leo Club of Kathmandu Bishal Bazaar, has provided essential school supplies to the students of Shree Kalika Basic School in Nuwakot, a rural government school located 40 km from Kathmandu Valley.
The initiative was launched to support 60 students from Grades 1 to 6, all of whom study free of charge. Through the generous contributions of Genese Solution employees in Kathmandu, school supplies including notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners were collected and delivered to the school. This collective effort aims to enhance the educational experience of these young learners by equipping them with the essential resources needed to excel in their studies.
The donation handover was made possible with the support of Sulav Thakali, District Vice President of Leo District Council 325 L, who accompanied the team to ensure the success of the project. Madhu Sudan Poudel, the school principal, expressed profound gratitude for the support, recognising the positive impact it will have on the children’s education. In addition to the stationery, the remaining supplies were entrusted to the school administration for future use.
Principal Poudel also appealed for further assistance, particularly for winter clothing, as the school prepares for the colder months ahead.
This initiative underscores Genese Solution’s dedication to giving back to the community and fostering education in rural areas. By providing essential resources to these young students, the organisation aims to contribute to their academic growth and overall development.
Genese Solution has thanked its employees for their generous donations and to the LeoClub of Kathmandu Bishal Bazaar for their collaboration in making this project a reality.
