Foreign Minister Rana returning home today

Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, is busy in bilateral meetings in Doha of Qatar. Minister Rana is now in Doha leading a Nepali delegation in the Third Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). 

On the sidelines of the summit, Foreign Minister Rana held bilateral meetings with Deputy-Prime Ministers, Foreign Affairs Ministers and ministers of different countries on Thursday.

There is participation of President, Prime Minister, Deputy-Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and ministers of ACD member countries in the summit.

After addressing the summit, Foreign Minister Rana paid a courtesy call on Deputy-Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, Deputy-Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, U Than Swe, and Minister of State for Foreign Trade of United Arab Emirates, Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

During the meetings, they discussed on various dimensions of mutual welfare and interest as well as issue of further extending relations and cooperation in coming days.

Foreign Minister Rana is returning home today after participating in the meeting of women foreign ministers from around the world held in Toronto of Canada, the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York of USA and the Third ACD held in Doha of Qatar. (RSS)
