Dharan’s people’s representatives draw government attention

Sunsari: A delegation comprising people’s representatives from Sunsari constituency-1 has reached Kathmandu to draw the attention of high-ranking officials of the federal government on several issues.

The delegation arrived in the capital to raise immediate assistance to address the issues of public concern, including physical infrastructure, roads, drinking water, disaster management and public concern in Dharan.

CPN (UML) Koshi Province Assembly member Bhimjwala Rai informed that the delegation met Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal on Tuesday and requested him to resolve the issue.

The delegation also had a separate meeting with Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari and Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yadav and drew their attention to their local issues.
