Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) to prepare the human resources capable of facing the world-class competitions.
Addressing the Eighth General Meeting of RJU convened at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar today, he stressed on making concerted efforts for resolving the problems encountered in preparing the able human resources.
The Prime Minister called on the RJU located in Janakpur, a place with a glorious history and background, to pay attention to the oriental philosophy as well as to the topics of local glory while developing the curriculum.
“Nepal has its own ancient history, which has its unique glory. Our ancestors were engaging in debates on science and knowledge when several countries were not even in existence. Shiva is considered as our ‘unorganized university’. In that sense, this land has inspired the world,” he said.
RJU Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidhya Bhattarai, Pro-Chancellor and Chief Minister of Madhes Province Satish Kumar Singh, National Planning Commission member Gita Kumari Poudel Adhikari, among other officials were present on the occasion. (RSS)
