Chitwan: A 60-year-old man from Beltadi in ward 2 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City was injured in a tiger attack on Sunday morning.
He was attacked by a tiger during his morning walk on the bank of the Narayani River, located in Bharatpur-1.
According to Indradev Yadav, chief district officer of Chitwan District, the injured man is being treated at Chitwan Medical College.
Several deep injuries were seen on the man’s mouth and hands, and his condition is stable now, said Yadav. “A team has been mobilized from the District Forest Office to search for the tiger.”
