Six girls rescued from a guest house in Koteshwar

Kathmandu: Six girls were rescued from Ramechhap Guest House at Koteshwor in Kathmandu on Thursday night. The Anti-Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police rescued those girls after getting an anonymous tip.

According to Gautam Mishra, spokesperson of the bureau, the guest house is run by Nabin Thapa, a resident of Ramechhap district.

Thapa, the guest house owner, is accused of engaging those girls in anti-social activities by luring them with financial temptations.

Police have also arrested Thapa and Ujjawal Khadka of Kageshwori Manohara in Kathmandu for their alleged involvement in illegal activities.
