Kathmandu: The National Examinations Board (NEB) has announced that the Grade 12 results will be published by the end of July.
Jung Bahadur Aryal, secretary of the NEB, said preparations are underway to publish the results soon.
“Our goal is to release the results by the end of July, and it’s possible it could happen sooner,” he said.
The board said it has received answer sheets from across the country and is currently engaged in the process of tallying marks and entering them in the system.
A total of 390,847 students, including 196,914 females and 193,933 males, from 5,542 schools sat for this year’s exams held from April 26 to May 8.
There were 1,526 designated exam centers, including one in Japan. This year, for the first time, the NEB used an automatic selection system to determine the examination centers in Kathmandu.
