Kanchanpur: A motorcyclist died in a road accident under the Mahendranagar-Suda section in Kanchanpur along the East-West Highway on Friday night.
According to the District Traffic Police Office, Kanchanpur, the deceased has been identified as a 27-year-old male. A tractor heading towards Bedkot from Mahendranagar struck the motorcycle, causing the accident.
The motorcyclist, who was seriously injured in the accident, died under the course of treatment at the Mahakali Provincial Hospital.
Ramu Rana, who was driving the tractor, was immediately arrested by the police and is in custody for necessary action and investigation.
