Kathmandu: The AWS User Group Nepal is organizing the second “AWS Community Day Nepal 2024” on 21st April, 2024 (Sunday).
With Genese Solution Pvt. Ltd. and Sunway College as co-organisers, the event promises to be an engaging platform for cloud enthusiasts, tech professionals, and industry leaders to converge, exchange insights, and explore the latest trends in cloud computing.
AWS User Groups are unified by community-led learnings and diverse by the wide range of tools and technologies intimately linked with Amazon Web Services, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, high scalability/performance computing, and cloud computing technology.
AWS Community Days are community-organized cloud education events with technical talks and demonstrations conducted by knowledgeable AWS users and global business executives.
AWS Community Day Nepal 2024 will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities tailored to empower attendees with knowledge and practical skills in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive innovation and business growth, the organisers said.
The event will include presentation by Anjani Phuyal, CEO of Genese Solution– a UK-based value IT consulting company. Phuyal is also an AWS Ambassador and AUG Nepal leader. He will share his expertise, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of AWS technologies and best practices.
Keynote speakers include Biswajit Mohapatra, Head of Customer Relations, CIO Advisory, India and South Asia at AWS. Amazon Web Services Ambassador in Nepal, Sushant Paudyal and Ms. Ridhima Kapoor, a Developer Marketing Manager at AWS India, will make presentations during the technical session.
Shequal Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to revolutionising the ecosystem by ensuring equal perspectives for both men and women in all actions affecting their lives, will initiate the Women in Tech Panel discussion.
In the session on ‘Devops Track,’ keynote speakers, Sandip Das, Tejas Gupta, Abhinav Dubey, Ramneek Kalra, will share their knowledge regarding the power of DevOps on AWS. Similarly, Sundar Shrestha, Abiral Sangroula, Nilesh Vaghela and Vishal Alhat will share their insights on ‘Cloud Security Track’. In the session on ‘AIML Track,’ Pooja Shrestha, Raju Mandal and Kanwar Singh will be sharing their practical implications on discovering the vector database power of Amazon Aurira and Amazon RDS.
The event, which is taking place at the Sunway College, Maiti Devi Marg in Kathmandu, will conclude with networking sessions among the participants and speakers.
