Kathmandu: Bhim Prasad Gautam has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal (IPPAN). The umbrella organization for energy producers, IPPAN, has appointed Gautam as the CEO for a term of three years starting from Wednesday.
Ganesh Karki, president of IPPAN, welcomed Gautam to the position of CEO on behalf of the organization on Wednesday. Karki expressed confidence that under Gautam’s leadership, IPPAN would achieve new heights. Gautam, who has over two decades of experience in journalism, especially in the energy and infrastructure sectors, brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, according to IPPAN.
Having served as the former president of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (Sejon), Gautam has held editorial leadership positions in various media outlets, including Rajdhani Daily, Saurya Daily, Radio Nepal, Image Channel, Nepal One Channel, and Karobar Daily. In recent times, he served as the editorial leader at Nepal Purbadhar.
