Kathmandu: Rock singer Robin Tamang, 60, has passed away on Tuesday evening.
Born in 1963, Tamang gained fame in the 2000s with a series of hit songs. He was also the founder of the rock band Robin and The New Revolution.
According to his family members, Tamang died on Tuesday evening, and his body has been sent to the Maharajgunj-based Teaching Hospital for post mortem.
Singers and musicians have taken to social media to express their condolences and share their memories of Tamang’s musical contributions.
