Kathmandu: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has secured slots at Sydney Airport, enabling the airline to operate flights to the Australian city.
The national flag carrier of Nepal has been granted slots for two weekly flights, scheduled on Saturdays and Thursdays.
To facilitate these flights, NAC plans to use Singapore as a transit hub. The airline has already commenced the process of selecting a general sales agent to facilitate the operations.
“We [NAC] have requested permission to operate flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting from June 21,” according to Ganesh Kumar Ghimire, joint spokesperson at the NAC.
