Kathmandu: Ncell, in partnership with the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Durbarmarg Development Board, and the Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal, is sponsoring the 16th Durbarmarg street festival.
The festival is set to take place on April 15 at Durbarmarg, Kathmandu and is themed ‘Nepali production, our pride; civilization and culture, preserving it our duty’, with the slogan ‘Ncell Presents Purple Saturday’. The festival will stretch from Mahendrashalik in the south of Durbarmarg to the gate of Narayanhiti Museum in the north.
According to a press statement from Ncell, the one-day street festival will commence with a cultural performance that represents the Kathmandu Valley’s culture, with various performances and activities scheduled throughout the day. Attendees can also enjoy food stalls and handicraft items on display. Ncell is the primary sponsor of the event.
