Prem Prasad Acharya, who attempted self-immolation in front of parliament building, dies

Kathmandu: Prem Prasad Acharya, 36 of Illam district died in the course of treatment at Kirtipur Hospital in Kathmandu on Wednesday morning. 

Acharya on Tuesday set himself on fire in the middle of the road in front of the parliament building in New Baneshwor.

According to police, the man was rescued and rushed to Kirtipur Hospital for treatment, but succumbed to burn injuries. Acharya passed away at 5 in the morning today, according to police.
