Nepali Congress decides to vote in favor of Prachanda government

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress has decided to vote in favor of trust motion by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal government.

In a meeting held on Tuesday, the party, largest in the parliament, has decided to vote in favor of the trust motion by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

“To protect the constitution, the party has decided to support the government, but will remain as the opposition,” said Mahendra Yadav, deputy general secretary of the party.

The Nepali Congress has a strength of 88 seats in the lower house.
