Gokarna Bista elected from Gulmi-2 for third consecutive time

Kathmandu: Gokarna Raj Bista, secretary of CPN (UML), has been elected from Gulmi-2.

Bista has been elected for the third consecutive time from the constituency. 

Bista has bagged 28,476 votes, while his closest opponent Ram Kumar Jhakri of CPN (Unified Socialist) secured 26,442 votes. 

Likewise, Kamala Pun, an independent candidate, bagged 463 votes.
