Nepalgunj: The streets in Nepalgunj town have been flooded with rainwater following a heavy downpour on Wednesday morning.
The inner streets, as well as the Setu BK Chowk, BP Chowk, Ramlila Ground in the sub-metropolis, have become waterlogged, hampering the traffic.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Madhusudan Neupane shared that some localities in the town have been inundated.
Nepalgunj received 86 millimeters of rainfall, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology stated.
The Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City had cleaned the drains some weeks back to prevent the inundation.
