Kathmandu: Minister of State for Health, Population and Family Welfare of Lumbini Bimala Khatri Oli has been arrested on Tuesday.
Oli was arrested on the charge of assaulting a woman at a house in Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-5 of Dang district.
Locals had locked the minister inside the house of Ekraj Basnet at Tulsipur Bus Park saying that she had assaulted his wife and a daughter.
Police took her under control after receiving information from the locals and is currently at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
